2. Then, we’ll have the photoshoot in the comfort of your own home, so that you and baby are super relaxed.
3. Once the photos are ready, we’ll have a viewing appointment where you can select your favourite shots, and decide on printing options.
4. Finally, I’ll deliver your beautifully presented prints and photos, ready to hang in pride of place on your walls.

When is the best time to book a newborn photoshoot?
Everyone is different, I have had mums wee on the stick and call me right away, others will wait until bub has arrived. The general recommendation is to book in the second trimester to avoid the risk of not having any last minute availability.
How old should my baby be for their newborn photoshoot?
Great question! The short answer is – it depends. There are advantages to different ages, and different families prefer different ages. I can accommodate any age starting at 1 week old. Most parents opt for 1-3 weeks, so long as everyone is well.
Can we include my partner and siblings?
Absolutely! Everyone is welcome. Grandparents and furbabies are up to you. I will always ask about dog’s temperament, to know how we can include them safely.
Can we have some photos inside and some photos outside?
We sure can! Let’s chat about any particular locations you have in mind. Some families opt for their garden, others choose another location altogether. When you work with me, I am more than happy to customise these details.
Can we bundle in a maternity photoshoot/ first birthday photoshoot?

My home is not Insta- ready. I’m not sure about having a photoshoot there?
From garages, living rooms, kitchens, bedrooms.. I’ve photographed in all sorts of different homes. I have a mobile studio, so we can use backdrops and my lights to have a studio look and feel to your photos. You wouldn’t even know we were in your home.
I don’t want any naked photos of bub. Is that ok?
That’s more than ok. We chat about your preferences before the photoshoot, so on the day we are ready to capture the photos you would love to have.
I don’t think bub’s older sibling will stay still, but I’d love to include them.
Rest assured, I have worked with LOTS of busy toddlers, including my 3 busy boys. Having the photoshoot in your home is one of the main advantages for toddlers, as they can come and go as they please and they are in the comfort of their own space. I also have lots of tricks up my sleeves to help them settle into the photoshoot.
