Newborn Photography | Welcome, Penelope!

At 5 weeks old, Penelope was the cutest little miracle baby with squishy cheeks, ten little toes and ten little fingers. She rocked her photoshoot like a superstar! I travelled to Penelope’s home in Sydney, which meant Penelope and her parent’s were able to stay comfortable and relaxed. Heading out with a newborn is hard! Newborn photography is such a special way to welcome a baby into the family and let me assure you, Penelope is feeling very welcome.

Penelope’s photoshoot was planned in advance to include some lifestyle baby photos and some natural and relaxed family shots in addition to some stunning photos with a floral arrangement. During the planning stage, Penelope’s mum and I chatted about creating a vision for the flowers, how they would be included, using a mix of tones and textures that suited their family while also accentuating the beauty of Penelope. A few fun shots were also included – what a comparison to her squeaky clean and tiny toes next to her dad’s! Capturing the tiny details is always such an important part of newborn photos. If you have a special idea or memento that you would like to have included in your baby’s photos, please don’t hesitate to ask! I love creating images that reflect the personality of the family.

Even at her very young age, Penelope is full of sass and personality! No doubt she will be keeping her parent’s hands full as she grows older. She is a champion little sleeper though, which is always such a blessing.
