Rachel at Scribbly Gum Photography has photographed hundreds of kids and works with your child to create fun and natural images, making sure your child feels completely relaxed while having their photo taken.
How Daycare Photography Works
Step 1: Photoshoot Dates are booked, booking form is sent to families.
Step 2: Each family completes a booking form and $40 payment per child. Sibling photos are able to be requested and will be completed if able to do so on the day.
Step 3: Each child has a selection of 3-10 images that is sent in a private gallery to the family. The $40 is applied to the photo selections. Both print and digital options are available.
Step 4: Prints are delivered to daycare for pickup and digital images are emailed directly to the family.
Individual portraits and play portraits
As a parent myself, seeing our kid’s having fun and sharing their personality is so special. Some daycare centres add in a posed portrait, (which comes with a colourful, fun background and can be setup indoors) while others choose to focus on just the play based portraits. Play portraits are a candid style of photography, the child may or may not be looking at the camera, depending on the activity they are engaging with.

Hi everyone!! Just wanted to let you know we had our photo day with Rachel this morning! She was fabulous and the kids were wonderful for her!! We got some excellent photos! All the parents opted to get a package and they all came dressed in their Sunday best! If you’re thinking about it I can highly recommend it and Rachel!
