You’ve done the professional headshot & branding photoshoot, now what?
Unfortunately, I will bear the bad news and let you know that simply having the images from your headshot and branding photoshoot tucked away in a safe space on your computer is not enough.
So, let’s chat about implementation. Let’s make your beautiful new photos work hard for your business by showcasing who you are and what you do.
I’m going to take you through a quick case study of one of my wonderful clients, Align Health Therapies. They have really impressed me with how well they have implemented their headshots and branding photography. It looks SO GOOD!
How to use branding photoshoot for your website
At the time of the photoshoot, Align Health Therapies were getting ready to launch their new (schmick!) website and so we knew we needed a mix of photos for it. This included a whole host photos, but in summary:
– Photos of the clinic
– Photos of their services
– Photos of their team, individually and together
How to get the most value out of your branding photoshoot: Implementation
Something I always recommend to my clients, whether they are service or product based business is to ensure you have photos of you in action, or your product in action. Here they are service based and use a variety of hand on treatment options with their clients – who might not have seen a therapist before.
These services in action photos will help their future clients see examples of what to expect, show them what the clinic looks like and who is going to be helping them.
All these potential client questions have been answered in one or two photos!
I even took this a step further, wanting to create a warm, friendly approach the therapists have and created this image for them. How awesome does this look for their contact us page!
It is immediately building rapport with the clients, even before they have the clicked the book now button.
Headshot updates: before and after our professional photoshoot
Their new, professional headshots are warm and inviting to show how friendly and approachable the therapists are.
Cohesive branding transfers across channels
This is my fancy way to say that implementing your branding photography doesn’t end with your website. The next step would be update your emails and social media channels.
What’s important is that for those clients who find you on social media, you need to then show cohesive and consistent branding into your emails and onto your website.
Show your clients what to expect and build familiarity with your team.
Show a consistent brand across all channels.
Your website, emails & socials all benefit with sharing your branding photoshoot
Their Instagram (above) looks amazing! You can see the consistent use of branding colours and imagery really elevates their first impression. I love how they have used the photos to continue the theme of showcasing their services and team from the website onto Instagram.
It might feel repetitive, but that’s a lot of what marketing is! What you are doing is reinforcing your brand recognition. You are your brand, and your business relies on you sharing who you are! Are you ready to get started?
